Anna: For me the NIGHT is a very
special time. There is something magical in this part of day - when everything
calms down, the world is covered with darkness, but also decorated with moonshine
and stars and lighted windows. The night is also good for creativity - at least for me. I wanted
to make this work multilayered, full of different elements, dark, but also a
little bit shiny, and of course NO FLOWERS!
Daisy: I always liked to
watch the sky at Night. Seeing the stars shine on this vast black background is magical. I found it very difficult NOT to use FLOWERS, but I took up the
challenge by using chipboards of stars and planets to replace flowers. DANA TATAR
Dana: Sitting around the
campfire, while vacationing at the lake during the summer, is one event that I
look forward to all year. We are far away from the city lights and the stars in
the NIGHT sky are absolutely beautiful. The rising moon over the water is
stunning. While trying to capture that view I also took this picture of my
family in shadow. The lack of light made this memory special. NO FLOWERS were
necessary on this layout! I filled the background with stars.
ELLE WILSON
Elle: For this month's challenge I have created a mixed media art
journal page in a handmade journal which is roughly A5 page size. It has lots
of collage using found papers from my stash and is inspired by the quote
"I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the NIGHT." If
you are missing FLOWERS this month, you only need to look up at the night sky
to see the beautiful flowers of the sky shining there. 😊
Rosalie: My layout is based
on the NIGHT where everything is a little strange. I used a photo that I took
recently... just as the sun was setting, and the vision of the tree in the foreground represents a menacing silhouette. NO FLOWERS but I have added a poem
I wrote about night time through to dawn.
Katrin: The theme of this month's challenge made me remember a song, from when I was younger. It was a summer hit
that I liked so much - The Rhythm of the NIGHT by Corona. I enjoyed remembering those memories of long ago moments, and as you can see... there are NO FLOWERS!

Awesome inspiration... Love it !!
