December 2022 Mini Challenge - SHINE

Hi Mini Challenge lovers! Welcome to this month's shiny Mini Challenge!

Word inspiration: Add the word SHINE on your mini projects. We need to see the actual word SHINE on your postcards, cards, tags and ATCs.

 HOW TO ENTER:  You can enter our Mini Challenge in our private  Art Cafe Facebook Group where you can now enter your project in the relevant album. Please make sure to add your project to the album so that we don't miss it when it comes to picking our winners!  

Or, you can enter on Instagram by tagging us and using the hashtags: #mtwminishine and #mtwminichallenge.  

As mentioned last month, we are excited to announce the latest issue of our new magazine - Artful Pages - which is a new way of looking at our challenges and inspiration, as well as being able to add more value for our readers which we are not able to do in our current formats.  Our latest issue is now available to flick through online just like a real magazine.  The magazine contains more about our challenges this month, plus DT inspiration, Guest Designer interviews, studio spaces and more!  Check it out and see for yourself - we would love your feedback!

Ann says:  Shine card for December Mini, I used Tim Holtz/Sizzix die-cut for this card. Wishing you a Shiny & Bright Christmas.

Elle says:  Shine tag for December Mini, I used a napkin for this one and then diecut the SHINE letters out and backed them with some white glitter card. I added some greenery using a Tim Holtz/Sizzix die and added some berries and a pom pom ribbon.

Heather says:  I used a quote from a song for my SHINE inspiration (an approximate one anyway!). In keeping with the theme I added a peacock feather to the top of the tag instead of the usual ribbon. I hope you'll join us this month!

Sharon says:  When I saw this month's mini-challenge, I knew that I wanted to make a tag and use the lyrics from one of my favorite songs by Collective Soul entitled "Shine." The photo is of my sister, Cathy, who is always shining down on our family.

Hi Mini Challenge lovers! Welcome to this month's Mini Challenge in its new earlier spot! We want to give more love to the Mini Challenge as it was feeling a little sidelined by the Main Challenge. So from now on the Mini will run for three weeks which will give you even more time to enter!
