Special Guest Sponsor
DUSTY ATTIC

This month we are so happy to put the spotlight on a very special manufacture that has been a premium sponsor on the More Than Words since our very start, sponsoring both our Main Challenge and our Mini Challenge.

Let's learn a little more about THE DUSTY ATTIC through their own words:

The Dusty Attic is an Australian owned and operated laser cutting business, which designs and manufactures craft items and embellishments. Founded in July 2009 and located in Perth, Western Australia, we are proud to be able to make our mark on the scrapbooking and craft industry with our great range of products. We are continually designing so we can bring our customers new and fresh designs. We love seeing what beautiful creations our customers have made with our products!

You can find more about each designer showcased below as well as

This is but a small sample of all the fabulous chipboard and stencil designs
that The Dusty Attic creates and offers on their website.
They also have other fabulous products like flowers, paints, sequins and accessories.

Here is a reminder of our March Main Challenge
followed by projects designed by some fabulous Dusty Attic designers:

JENNIFER HEDGER
Jennifer: I love this month's inspiration word. Like most of us, I don't normally like photos of myself, but I have now realized that this is me! I am now totally COMFORTABLE in my own skin. I'm nowhere near perfect, but I'm perfect for me. The COLOUR COMBO fit the theme of my page perfectly. I used the 2 shades of purple as well as a lot of white. I actually kept all the chipboard white to better enhance the multiple photos. The Dusty Attic chipboard used include
the new Impact Titles, Foliage #10, Viewfinder and Little Love Hearts.

JEN BURNS

Jen: When I saw the word COMFORTABLE, I immediately thought of my bedroom which actually matches the creative challenge's COLOUR COMBO of dark purple, lilac pink, white and teals. (I'm very lucky that my truck driving husband lets me have such a shabby chic room!) I have used Dusty Attic chipboard all through my layout including the Iron Garnish #2, Vintage Keys, Page Pebbles #3, as well as Botanical Blooms, a title and some alphabet. There is such a huge range.
I have used a little heart punch and left over photos to embellish my layout as well.
I hope that you'll give this challenge a go; it was so much fun!

MICHELLE CARRICK
Michelle: It's funny how one looks at their beloved pets sleeping and think 'how COMFORTABLE can that be!?' This is my baby boy who sleeps in funny positions all the time. I took this picture of Mac fast asleep on my lap snoring with his little mouth open. To me, he looks so uncomfortable, but he seems happy and quite comfy!
Mac is a silver/black miniature Schnauzer and has a aqua green collar, all of which just lend themselves perfectly to the COLOUR COMBO creative challenge.
I used many beautiful Dusty Attic pieces such

PATRICIA BASSON
Patricia: Whilst looking for a photo for this layout, I came about this photo of myself at age about five. Seeing as it is my birthday week, I thought about words of wisdom that 55 year old me could have told 5 year old me, and one of the most important is this... Learn to be COMFORTABLE about who I am and what I can do and not be too concerned about how the rest of the world sees me. It proves to be a very tough lesson and one that I am still not very comfortable with! I absolutely loved all the colours of the COLOUR COMBO. I opted to use aqua blue, white and pinkish purple. From my Dusty Attic stash, I used Elegant Chain, Leaves #3 and Mini Scrolls
I also used Dusty Attic/49 and Market's 'Happy Moments' Designer Cuts.

RACHELLE SIGURDSON
Rachelle: Where I live, we get Winter, cold and Brrr, so you have to layer up to go outside. I was inspired by the yarn image which made me think of sweaters, scarves, hats and mittens that we wear at this time of year to get COMFORTABLE. In contrast to the cold, I loved the warm feel of the COLOUR COMBO and absolutely enjoyed creating this soft purple, lilac and white page on which you can see all these Dusty Attic pieces: ATC Frame Set #2, Ornate Frame #1, Elegant Frames, Antique Frame, ATC Frame #4, Baroque Corners, Decorative Flourish Set, Laurel Sprigs, Word Tags #1, Mini ABC Lower and Teeny Tiny ABC, as well as some White Sunshine Sequins.

NADYA DROZDOVA
Nadia: I was inspired by this challenge to create a soft and light project with pictures of a cute kitten laying on a pillow and looking quite COMFORTABLE. I had fun with the creative challenge and used all the colours of the COLOUR COMBO. I kept my composition very subtle and soft against a white background decorated with the Lace Stencil design. I used the Iron Garnish #2 and Heart Attack Border #2 chipboard sets as well as Play with Green Sequins.

Here is a collage of just some of the Dusty Attic chipboard used in
these gorgeous layouts from the DA designers:
