Special Guest Sponsor Spotlight on
CUTS2LUV

This year, we have decided to change things up a bit
and spotlight one of our fabulous sponsors each month
by inviting a few of their designers to be our guest designers!

We start off the year with none other than...

Let's learn a little more about CUTS2LUV through their own words:

Cuts2luv is the first brand of French Canadian flair (badges) founded in 2013 to fill a great void in the scrapbooking industry in Quebec, Canada. We are a small business operated from home with the interest of our clients at heart.  From the beginning, we have always been in search of trends and have considerably increased our product base. We offer as many badges in French as in English, and we also have a fabulous line of metallic flair for all tastes. We even have added several chipboard titles to our catalogue. Our biggest joy is to see our products on your artwork,
all across the world!

You can find more about each designer showcased below as well as
all the Cuts2luv product collection by visiting the following links :

Here are just a small sample of the many beautiful badges that Cuts2luv has to offer.
There are definitely some for every tastes, every theme and every style!
They also offer other products so make sure to check out their Etsy shop!

Here is a reminder of our January Main Challenge
followed by projects designed by 3 of Cuts2luv's talented designers:

MARIE-FRANCE BOULAY
Marie-France: For the word inspiration, I had the perfect photo inspired by BIRTHDAY and I used letters to spell 'BDAY' to go along with the theme. For the creative challenge, I used some TAGS with images on them and on others, I stamped the images myself. I didn't want my project to have happy bright colours which are usually used for birthdays. Since it's a man on my photo, I wanted to make a more masculine page with darker hues, but I couldn't resist adding splashes of ink and sparkly blue sequins for an irresistible festive look.

SANDRA BERNARD
Sandra: For this challenge, I was inspired by confetti which we use during BIRTHDAY parties, thus I punched confetti in my TAGS. I also added different coloured sequins from Cuts2luv in with the confetti to make it look like rain. I used a photo of me with a title making reference to how many birthdays I have on my personal meter.
I chose 2 badges from Cuts2luv to decorate my page.

VERONIQUE LEVASSEUR
Veronique: What is more magic than a child's BIRTHDAY? That's why I started my inspiration with a picture of my daughter blowing the candles on her birthday cake. Of course, the word magic was obvious to me as the title of my layout. I used 2 TAGS for the creative challenge in pastel shades to fit with my composition
and 3 Cuts2luv badges. There are so many various designs!
